Buffalo Springs Lake Announces Historic Reduction in Gate Fees & Exciting 2025 Season
Lubbock, TX – February 6, 2025 – For the first time in its history, Buffalo Springs Lake is proud to announce a significant reduction in gate admission fees, making the lake more accessible and affordable for all visitors. Effective immediately, these new rates are designed to enhance the experience for families, outdoor enthusiasts, and our honored veterans.
New Admission & Boating Prices:
- Adults (Ages 12 & Up): Reduced from $16 to $12
- Children (Ages 6-11): Reduced from $6to $5
- Active Duty & Retired Veterans: FREEadmission (excludes dependents)
- Half-Price Evening Admission: Any visitor entering the park after 6:00 PM will receive a 50% discount on general admission fees. This discount applies to gate admission only and does not include boats, ATVs, or other additional fees.
This unprecedented change reflects Buffalo Springs Lake’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for the community. Our Board understands that while the cost of living continues to rise, we want to do our part in making outdoor recreation more accessible by reducing these fees. By making admission more affordable, the lake aims to encourage more families and individuals to enjoy its natural beauty, recreational activities, and special events year-round.
